With more than 20 years' experience as an in-house legal counsel and business journalist, Kelley R. Taylor has contributed to numerous national print and digital magazines on key issues spanning education, law, health, finance, and tax. Kelley particularly enjoys translating complex information in ways that help empower people in their daily lives and work.
Prior to Kiplinger, Kelley wrote for the Tax Analysts publication Tax Notes Today Federal , and the New York-based finance publication The Bond Buyer . She also previously covered federal tax concerns for the global firm Ernst & Young. Her writing has regularly appeared in School Library Journal , INSIGHT into Diversity magazine, and Principal Leadership magazine, among other publications.
Kelley holds a B.A. in Psychology from William and Mary and a J.D. from Antonin Scalia Law School at George Mason University, and she has received two national awards for publication excellence.
